Individual Counseling
Individual counseling involves working one-on-one to receive support during challenging life circumstances. You and Adam will work together as a team to explore and define present problem situations, develop future goals for an improved life, and work in a systemic fashion toward realizing those goals.
Some common problems for which people may seek individual counseling can include:
Trauma
Depression
Anxiety
Anger
Stress
Grief/Loss
Spiritual Issues
Adam takes an integrative approach to counseling and utilizes methods from various modalities, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Adam is also trained in EMDR. You can read more about EMDR therapy here:
